Playwright Bienvenido M. Noriega, Jr. was such a prolific writer. It was inconceivable how he could have cranked out his award winning works. He was PNB Executive Vice President, Deputy Director General of the Experimental Cinema of the Philippines and taught drama courses part time at UP, Ateneo, Assumption and UE.
His career was a means to an end. His real love was writing, hence not a surprise he could come out among others with commercially successful musical plays like "Kenkoy loves Rosing" which had a long run at Music Museum in 1990 and 1991. Janno Gibbs was Kenkoy and Regine Velasquez was Rosing.
